Hopefully it'll develop into a place for like-minded artsy fartsy types to kick around ideas and for others to give me money for drawing them some doodles. Until I dig up some of my files, here's some pics which kinda sorta represents what I'm kinda sorta about. All characters are copyrighted by their respective owners.

The following are some various DC Comics/Marvel Comics doodles I did for shits & giggles...I don't see using them for anything, I just drew them out of my love for my childhood heroes. I was the king of comic book freaks as a wee lil' tyke. I even went so far as constructing my own Captain America shield out of some old 2x4's. It was heavy as hell, but made my scrawny lil' self feel invincible...until the sheer weight of it convinced me to switch my allegiances to a superhero who didn't require such a heavy prop...until my dad busted my ass for "borrowing" his rubber mallet. Hey, try finding a proxy for Mjornin when you're eight years old. Not an easy task.

Yeah, I'm a big Adam West as Batman fan. So what. He liked it, so that's all that matters. Nyaa.

Is it possible to be nostalgic about a age that was over with decades before one's even born? If so, my nostalgia kick would be primarily for the super-heroes of the 1940's, followed closely by the Dell "Duck" comics of that time. If it looks simplistic to you...it's meant to! No ultra-detailing or cross-hatching here, baby.

Here's a larger version of a cartoony rendering I recently made for my dear friend (and international literary superstar) Gwen Masters. I don't think I did her justice, but she liked it, so here it be's. Dang, she's cute.

A lil' ad I worked up for my funnybooks.
